 Yo leí este libro en inglés y, si quieren hacerlo también, no se arrepentirán. Se muestra mucho el contraste y muchas bromas son entre franceses, americanos e ingleses, y al ser escrito en inglés se hace mucho más divertido. Además de que es un vocabulario simple que se entiende súper fácil. La verdad es que no me imagino leerlo en español. NO SERÍA LO MISMO. Para nada.

Ese libro que te hace sentir el corazón todo cálido por la historia de estos personajes, el libro que te hace reir como tonta y fangirlear porque St. Clair claramente quiere Anna pero Anna no se da cuenta y sos feliz mientras que lees.

Eso es Anna and The French Kiss para mí. Un amor de libro.

BOOK REVIEW: ANNA & THE FRENCH KISS BY STEPHANIE PERKINS

SYNOPSIS: Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend. 

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

Humour and tension are breathed from page to page and Stephanie Perkins will hook you and get to youe heart.

What made this book unique was, clearly, the way it's written: it isn't complicated and the author qrites as if she was in the mind of the character. This kind of writing allows us to stay in contact with the story, with the atmosphere and it helps to feel some love for the characters indeed.

The book has a great atmosphere because not everything happens in Paris streets. The author always remember you where the characters are and makes you feel as if you really were in the city of lights.

The characters are adorable. Anna and her passion for cinem. Étienne and his wway of being perfect..

One of the greatest things of this book is that it has a simple plot but that doesn't make it bad... not a bit. 

 

 I read the book in english and, if you want to do it that way too, you won't regret. There's shown a lot of contrast and jokes about french, english and american people, and as it's written in english it's funnier as it's in its original language an the jokes are based on that. It also has a simple vocabulary that makes the reading really easy. The truth is that I can't imagine reading it in spanish. IT WOULDN'T BE THE SAME.

This book warms your heart because of the story of this characters. The book makes you laugh as a fool fangirl because St. Clair clearly likes Anna but she doesn't realize. You're happy while reading and it's one of the best books I've read so far!

That's Anna and The French Kiss for me. My first love.
